Re: Big games tonight
I went to the Salisbury vs Gosport play off last night. Dreadful game with a dramatic ending. With two minutes left Gosport were coasting to a scrappy 1-0 win, then Salisbury scored with a low long range effort that was their first worthwhile effort on target in the entire game, then a minute into ...

Re: Big games tonight
Both looked very tight games. Enfailed’s goal came from a long throw by ex-Bee Joe Payne. Finchley played well in the 1st half but fell away a bit in the 2nd. Massive crowds in both ties. Enfailed’s biggest ever and I’d never seen so many Finchley fans before! Joe Payne, was he the young lad that M...

Re: Solihull Moors (THTS) The Minging to Winning Match Thread
A big big assumption that Oldham will sort themselves out by next season. Believe me the malaise is deep there.
That’s not to say that some other club will not come out of nowhere to challenge.

Re: Now that we’re out of the running
Oldham are a complete mess. They won’t be contenders in their current state and I think Mellon has lost his mojo.

Re: Big games tonight
I’ve been there for a Worthing match as I was staying the night there for work. I don’t think anything new had been built until this season (some new terracing at one end) and an artificial pitch a few seasons ago.letchbee94 wrote: ↑28 Apr 2024, 18:07 Ok nice, Though it might have changed a bit (new stands etc?) since then?

Re: Barnet retained list
I find it funny that right after Mem’s post advising that we shouldn’t go for a drastic rebuild, we get a post advising for a drastic rebuild!
The fact is that no team has won a league after such a drastic rebuild as Beesting has suggested above.

Re: Big games tonight
Despite their having a plastic pitch, I’d much prefer Worthing to Braintree. Brackley is quite an easy away trip by car but it looks like the sort of ground you’d only want to visit once. I think it’s a shame that Boston have moved out of their great ground in the middle of town for an inferior one ...

I’d prefer Alty but I think it will be Bromley.
