Re: Chairman's statement
Has the council clarified their position since yesterday, seeing as someone's jumped the gun and issued a statement? No, because its an official statement... It comes across as dismissive of TK and the fans but at the moment we shouldn't try and second guess what's going on. Maybe TK's been getting ...

Re: Chairman's statement
Maybe TK went public because a lot of work was done since 2021 but then the council has started to cool its support or even became obstructive? Either way the council statement and continuation of the site in Green Belt doesn't sound good.

Re: Chairman's statement
^^^^There would have to be (again) an artificially created opposition to Underhill by any local (and not so local) Conservatives for there to be any serious 'local' reaction. One thing that is worth remembering is that when we campaigned in the local council elections in 2006 we helped Labour to ret...

Re: Underhill free school
I'd be very interested in who is part of a new BRASS campaign. I was under the impression they were all conservative party members, 85 year olds in wheelchairs, and a professional activist who's probably moved somewhere else! I'm still of the opinion that the Tories lost votes in Underhill because o...

Re: email 1
A Barnet supporter in search for assurances that his club isn't being saddled with unsustainable debts is given a rough time by some of his fellow supporters for having the temerity to ask for clarification of how millions of investments are being funded - what a strange place this is. Let's turn t...

Re: What will 'The Hive' stadium look like?
AFC Wimbledon = "Kingston" Dons. Most 'real' fans seem to support it. Well its only a few miles over the border from Wimbledon. "Harrow" Bees unfortunately does not seem to be much supported by the 'real' fans. Playing 'miles away' at the hive - which is a bit closer to Underhill...

Yes, the one shown at the KBA. Not suggested one drawn up by the KBA!John_c wrote:I'm pretty sure that there was no KBA plan for a stadium. I do recall a supporter (Tony Thornton?) drawing his own one up, which may be what you're referring to here?

Re: Harrow move news?
Wasn't this the plan that someone in the original KBA had drawn up and showed off at a meeting at the Queens Arms? If so, I seem to remember it involving a lot of terracing, making use of every ounce of space, but it would have been flawed by the updated regulations involving access, turnstiling et...
