Re: Big games tonight

As I predicted last week, Halifax not going to make it. Far from it.

Thank goodness for Aldershot only needing a point in their final game.

Why not?

Often an easy ride can lull you into a false sense of security for your next game

Re: Big games tonight

A win for Halifax tonight takes Southend out of the equation, and whatever happens at Rochdale, there's a relegation decider on the final day! Would be nice if Oxford could even nick a point tonight, then we can plan our playoff weekend accordingly without waiting for Saturday's round of games. Als...

Re: Big games tonight

Avoid Southend at all costs.

After rubbing it in their faces twice, it would be the most sickening revenge for them.

All I care about is Halifax winning won of their last 3 games. Don't fear anyone else in the playoffs

Re: Maidenhoof (Away) The Sparkes Fly Match Thread

Oh and the highlights show that the ref got it absolutely right for the penalty. agree. defender jumps/ falls backwards with not one, but two arms in the air! The offside for their goal seems too close to call, so not sure how DB was able to be so sure in his post match interview that it was a goal

Re: Maidenhoof (Away) The Sparkes Fly Match Thread

Just seen the highlights. A few thoughts - wow, how many chances in the first 10 mins? That pass from Kabamba to put Stead through for our first chance is one of the best passes i've seen at this level. Absolutely glorious. Second thought... Keeley you absolute disgrace - i'm sorry but that was just...

Re: Maidenhoof (Away) The Sparkes Fly Match Thread

I'm not going to criticise any single player. I think if you asked each one of that starting eleven how they thought performed today they would all admit they were below their best. At this stage of the season most are fatigued and many are carrying knocks and strains. But they got a result. I real...
