Re: Chairman's statement
It would interesting to know if TK and/or planning consultants have engaged with the school. A joint application would appear to have more chance of success than an application from the football club.

Re: Yeovil (away) The Oooh Do You Think You Arr Thread
Having moved away I do not see as many games as I have in the past. I do not like to comment or criticise on games I have not seen. Yesterday was my first game this season the last game I saw was Weymouth away. I have to say I was really impressed with the energy, application and team spirit last ni...

Re: Is ‘The Club that would not die’ in terminal decline ?
I wish folks could get over the fact we don't play at Underhill any more. What is it, 8 or 9 years now? Like it or not its done and dusted. Perpetually moaning about it does no one any good (especially irritating from those who claim not to support the club anymore - fine, see ya!) Flack jacket on....

Re: Is ‘The Club that would not die’ in Cardiac Arrest ?
John apologies did not mean to cause distress. The analogy was more to say there are undoubtedly problems but with decisive action things can be turned around. My person opinion is why did we give up Underhill if we do not have ambitions to progress into and up the Football League. There are several...

Is ‘The Club that would not die’ in terminal decline ?
Is the football club in terminal decline or can the problems on and off the pitch be turned around ?

Re: Pleased for The Wood
All this talk about how Danny Hunter cares for the fans etc… this is the guy who thinks nothing of openly slagging off both the people of Boreham Wood and Boreham Wood’s own fans for not turning up! Here’s the transcript of one particularly bizarre, scathing interview which is dripping with contemp...

Re: The embarrassment
It appears Kleanthous learnt nothing from the time he worked with Dennis Signy and just repeats the same mistakes over and over again.
The definition of insanity is doing the same thing over and over again and expecting different results.

Re: New signings?
This could be a case of moving for a target quickly when they come available. Although things have not worked out at other clubs he has been rated by managers he has worked with.
I think the sort of signing we should be looking at and hopefully it works out well for player and club.

Re: Eastleigh (Hive) The Flying Doctors Match Thread
Vis a Vis attendance, every London PL team played today compared to d&r when it was international break and Notts where it sounds like there were too many other farces for anyone to give a crap about attendance. I think that, compared to how far downwards this club has gone over the past season...

Re: Roger Jones
I last bumped into Roger on Finsbury Park station a few years ago, he was coming back from seeing Charlton (who I think he supported?). Memories of playing football against him in the Barnet Sunday League and like others looking forward to Friday mornings and the Barnet Press. A lovely man who will ...

We should be aspirational to the successful clubs that are a similar size to us.

Re: The chairman has spoken
Another own goal by the bull headed TK and another wave of present/past/casual fans alienated. Amazing that some of our old NL rivals Stevenage, Accrington, Barrow, Morecambe, Burton, Crawley, and Forest Green have consistently outperformed Barnet for 10+ years now. TK have any thoughts on that or ...

Re: Government cash injection
My personal opinion is that the National League will grind but the NLS and NLN will end. There will still be promotion to the EFL but no relegation from the NL. Whether or not they deserve it, this would save Barnet from the drop. i tend to agree with you, the fear of losing the Football League pro...

Re: Cult Barnet XI - Left Back
MCB - shouldn't nominations from all supporters be equally appreciated? We shouldn't be ageist! They are! I think I included every left back nominated - another 4 came afterwards. Remember I'm only 23,so I need suggestions from more mature supporters for older players  In that case can I n...
