Re: Big John
Just enjoy the memories over four glorious years of banging in the goals. Absolute legend. Good luck Sir John Akinde (pen)! Phenomenal - up there with Gary Bull, Mark Carter, Sean Devine and Giulional Grazioli. Hear hear, we have had some very good strikers over the years, but I can't think of any ...

Re: Josh Keeley called up
I’d sack Keeley and Walker both off. Not up to national league standard I agree, sack both keepers and the entire squad like Dorking the day after transfer deadline day, it's the only way to win them play offs. If only we had a squad of players with BeesKneeJerk's mentality we would have won this l...

Re: Eastleigh FC (THTS) The Return Flight to Sunderland Thread
Watching highlights their first goal looks even worse than I remember from last night. I don't think we give Eastleigh enough credit. Quigley is a decent player at this level. He chests the ball down in his own area, takes one look and plays a pass that splits our defence, beats the offside trap an...

Re: A bit of perspective needed
Sadly, I think a lack of perspective is symptomatic of the modern football fan. This is the same at every club, where a section of the support expect to win every game and then rage at the players / manager / chairman when it doesn't happen. We live in a society where self-absorbed, entitled, superf...

Bolasie on one wing and Adomah on the other was horrible for opposition defences.

Love that 'getting Maynarded' is a thing now!
I would anticipate them going straight up next season as well unless they lose their manager and get Maynarded.

Re: Ex-Bees (2014 update)
Don’t ask me how I ended up here but I found out that Mofe Jemide as an U12 signed for Crystal Palace from Barnets youth team. He is now playing for Palace’s U18 and for England U17. During the summer of 2023 he played with the Crystal Palace under-21 side for the first time, on tour in the United ...

Re: Aldershot (Away) The Underhill! Underhill! Match Thread
Half the first team is missing, we have gone away to a top six team and lost to a massively deflected goal and people are losing their minds. Yes we have some tough games ahead and yes the injuries are hurting us, but the squad strength in depth is better than it has been for years. No one was bemoa...
