Re: Poll | Who Do You Support?
I have been supporting Barnet since the early 1970s and when I moved up to Edinburgh in 1993, started to support Livingston since 1995. I didn't fancy supporting one of the two 'big' Edinburgh teams, always better to give your support to the little teams - at least one of my clubs have been doing re...

Has a familiar sound to it - injured, just like his brother and Scotland international games !!

Re: St Underhill's day
My understanding is that Totteridge was derived from 't'other ridge' or 'the other ridge' so a similar terrain reference to 'under hill' - but I could be totally wrong !

Re: National League Season Ended
So the National League season has been cancelled but nobody knows at this current time when football with fans will be allowed to start up again. It is quite feasible that the current problems will continue for another six months or even longer (taking us to end of October / November) then next seas...

Re: North of the border
If the same rules applied in the National League to decide the final play off spots then we would miss out of the final spot - would that be fair or right?
Partick Thistle were 2 points behind but had a game in hand, so the decision up here means any games in hand count for nothing !

Re: Rhys Murphy signs
Absolutely nothing wrong at speculating, which as you say, has been done for many many years and we all do it. It's the slagging off the chairman and the manager for not signing somebody who in all likelihood doesn't want to sign for us or where no contact has even been made. At this time of the yea...

Re: Rhys Murphy signs
It really frustrates me when folk on this forum slag off TK or DC for not signing somebody who is available - signing Dave Tarpey shows ambition and the size of the squad show he has backed managers recently. On what basis do people know these players were on our radar, more importantly did the play...

Nicky Deverdics is another who played for us before eventually plying his trade at Hartlepool.

Re: Wield the axe - who can get us promoted next year?
Where's the evidence that players have to pay for water (free from a tap!) shirts etc? Who on this forum gets their food paid for by their employer? The players don't seem to buy lots of food when I've been at the HIve and they use some kind of in house card. If a new player who is offered up to £1...

Re: Halifax (PTA) The (Shaq) Match Thread
And there are still some fans in denial and believe we are not in a relegation battle as we have games in hand - time to wake up, smell the coffee and understand that we are in a real danger of being relegated again unless things improve dramatically and immediately. Yes we sometimes can play 45 min...

Re: Apology from Shaq?
His attitude before the sending off was terrible and the subsequent red card was so predictable. Then his behaviour at getting the red card was an embarrassment - refusing to leave the pitch, arguing with match officials, then gestering towards the Gateshead supporters when leaving the pitch. The si...
