Re: Plymouth (Away) The Pilgrim's Choice Match Thread
I was at the game. Never a pen and never a foul in the lead up to the second goal. Argyle fans were incensed and in the second half the ref gave EVERYTHING their way. We were absolutely solid. There was hoof ball in the second half but that was because Argyle had us pinned back. We played when we co...

Re: Plymouth (Away) The Match Thread Halting Pilgrim's Progr
Something happened near the end of the game. The ball went out, MA chased it near the Plymouth dugouts, didn't see what happened but a couple of Plymouth players started jumping up and going loopy. Adams initially refused to shake MA's hand...so I'm told...and then came out with his totally deluded ...

Re: Plymouth (Away) The Match Thread Halting Pilgrim's Progr
Yeah but they weren't creating anything and we were ahead so I don't get it when you say we scored and then disrupted their flow. Sure, if we'd gone ahead and they were knocking on the door for 10 minutes but we shut up shop as soon as we scored. Which obviously then gave them the chance to dictate...

Re: Plymouth (Away) The Match Thread Halting Pilgrim's Progr
Argyle are a very good team who like to dictate the tempo with a slick passing game. If you keep disrupting that tempo their game loses fluidity. Which it did.

Re: Plymouth (Away) The Match Thread Halting Pilgrim's Progr
Plymouth fans on Twitter saying we paid the price for time wasting in between 1-0 and 1-2. Not sure of the veracity of such claims but if true did we really need to start time wasting so early? That's the second away game out of three where everyone's saying we've been unlucky... Let's be honest, p...

Re: Plymouth (Away) The Match Thread Halting Pilgrim's Progr
MA did not lose the game. McLean was booked and went flying in studs up and looked really pumped. He also seemed knackered come the end of the first half...he ran himself into the ground and was looking ragged in the challenge...a recipe for a second yellow. I would love to know how often we have h...

Re: Plymouth (Away) The Match Thread Halting Pilgrim's Progr
I understand people's frustrations but casting blame when you have not seen the game is asking for trouble. I don't see barnet as much as I would like, but that was one of the gutsiest performances I've seen in a long time. Still gutted about Big John's chance... His shot hit the inside of the post....

Re: Plymouth (Away) The Match Thread Halting Pilgrim's Progr
So, I was at the game... A Plymouth Bee. Be under no illusion, Argyle have been on fire this season and will definitely go up. MA did not lose the game. McLean was booked and went flying in studs up and looked really pumped. He also seemed knackered come the end of the first half...he ran himself in...

Re: New signing
No matter what Boro fans say now, they wanted to keep him... Surely none of them have claimed anything other than that they wanted to keep him?! Here's the tweet Stevenage posted announcing the release of 13 senior players last month. Have a look at the replies from the club's fans. There's only on...
