Re: Will the rugby cost us a playoff place?
No clue needed, because I think we have more £££££££££££££££££££££££££££££££ than Halifax ...and perhaps as a long shot, maybe better pitch facilities. Do you know about the pitch maintenance budgets of both clubs? As I have said all along it comes down to how much we spend on the pitch to keep it ...

Re: Will the rugby cost us a playoff place?
It made absolutely NO difference to the state of the pitch other than the hideous green lines. A lot of people seem ignorant to the the difference between league and Union, League is all running, no scrums to speak of, no rucking and certainly no more wear and tear than football, if anything less w...

Re: Will the rugby cost us a playoff place?
Hate to say it but I said all along it would affect the pitch. The rugby may not trash the pitch but grass does not like people running on it constantly, it weakens it which in turn thins it out and it wont grow back so fast. The key to the bigger clubs keeping their pitches in reasonable condition ...

Re: Where Are You Going To Get Your Football Fix This Weeken
I shall be returning to St Mary's to see Saints vs West Brom. Seen quite a bit of Southampton recently and love their style of play, makes paying PL prices well worth it.

Re: Lee Harrison
Yes Lee is off to West Ham, his last game with Wycombe is tomorrow. This is a great move for someone who I (and a lot of other fans) hold very dear, its been a hard 12 months for the Harrison family hence us setting us GKsforGOSH.

Ditto Steve.....this deal has no cash written all over it.....The cost of sponsorship deducted off the cost of equipment going into the Hive. Saves us money overall I guess

Something to be proud of......
I appreciate there is a section for the Ladies and with the changes in the team entering the Super League a lot of people are not that concerned with the team anymore but I think this is definitely something we as fans of the club should be pleased with. Ladies GK Cherie Rowlands is currently on loa...

Re: Hive Planning Permission
The issue is the stand which then leads to the lights. The stand height was increased to allow for the TV gantry, as the stand height increased the floodlights had to increase in height accordingly.........

Re: Hive Drainage
I kept making remarks about how good the drainage was, it really, really held up well. Didn't see any pooling. The pitch had its first real test yesterday, believe it or not we had 20 inches of rain yesterday with 10 inches in one hour between 12 and 1. Despite this it was still quite firm. The bas...

Re: Hive Drainage
Believe me the pitch will cope very well, it was quite dry today and will need the overnight rain. The pitch is sand based meaning drainage is very good.
