Re: Bristol away
That stadium looks like a Populous design. If it is then I have to say their stadiums are absolute class. They built a stadium near where I live in the states for the local MLS team and if I recall correctly the stadium sold out every game the past season and the stadium was a huge factor. I had fri...

To be fair to Jake, he is our leading goalscorer this season.

I voted for Obama, but if Clovis were on the ballot he would've had my vote after today.

The fact that we're still 0-0 when looking at the half we just played makes me fairly content right now.

Re: Euro 2012: Stadiums of Hate
Too be fair, I think it was some pretty sensationalist journalism especially the part involving the group "Patriot of Ukraine". That organisation is relatively small in number (3500) and notoriety (Most of the websites found via a Google search were either put up by the group itself or ref...

These tweets are making me really disappointed that school and the Atlantic Ocean are preventing me from being there. It's going to be hard concentrating during class today.

Re: Di Canio confident in interview
I mean, if your figures are correct (and I have no idea if they are) then Swindon have spent 230K on players which is approximately 230K more than Barnet. It's all relative, really. To a club like Barnet 230K is a lot of money to spend on players because our revenues are nowhere near enough to cover...

Re: Izale // Transfer Day
There is no loyalty in football these days!! All we ever heard was "enjoying the club" this and "I'm a Barnet player" that. Suddenly a team comes in with a, let's be honest, paltry £83 million bid and suddenly it is off to greener pastures. It just makes me sick.

If the first ten minutes are any indication, no. Hopefully we can turn it around. Still early.

Re: To Beat a Pilgrim (Optomistic Match Thread)
Well said meden_820. As I was reading previous pages I had to keep reminding myself that we had, in fact, won 2-0. Yes it was against a team that are, apparently, totally hapless, but how quickly most of us forget that we lost twice to Stockport last term. Three points is three points especially com...

Re: To Beat a Pilgrim (Optomistic Match Thread)
Sounds like it's a good thing that we're playing Plymouth. Both teams having some defensive issues. Us being exposed at the back on set pieces, and Plymouth are just awful, apparently, at the back.
