Agreed, it is simply common courtesy to let Dean speak to Swindon ( and maybe others), it doesn't mean that he wants to lose him.

At the risk of being piled on, I actually wouldn’t turn my nose up at Luke Garrard. Totally outfoxed Brennan in last season’s eliminator. Don't think it can be understated the notts county situation, somehow Dean's former friend now arch enemy bagged that job which must irk him still..... so whether it's Swindon or another league job the timing might be perfect in his personal and professional life plus to have a full transfer window...
