Re: Wealdstone tickets
Interesting to see they do a 'Next Generation' ticket for 18-23 year olds. One maybe for the BFCSA to talk to the club about when discussing the stupid ticket prices at BFC.

Re: Ticker offers - Aldershot game
Great move by the club. Well done the BFCSA. Big thing now is not the offer but how it is marketed. A few Twitter posts isn’t enough, you’re only really advertising to the converted.

Re: FC Halifax (Hive) The Match Thread Banking on Momentum
There is talk about DB playing round legs in round holes, is DB not a round peg in round hole? A locally based, NL manager who knows the level and seems to be on a much better level with the players than HK was. You mention DB helped agree HK was the right man for the job but HK was highly rumoured ...

Re: Barnet article in The Times
From the Times: There are crisis clubs and basket cases in English football, and then there’s Barnet Football Club; financially secure, residing in relative splendour at The Hive, yet beholden to the whims of one man, and in a perpetual state of chaos. Five defeats in a seven-game winless start to t...

Iain's 'rant' (I think he called it that) was anything but -- it was a superb, eloquent summary of the anger and despair that many fans have felt for far too long.[/quote]

Having gone on to listen to the rest of it, have to say Iain gets it spot on. ‘Patronising bu*****t’. Is a great phrase to wrap up his rant (his words). His fear for the medium term based on the last 10 years is well articulated. The BFCSA is going to be key to the next few years and fixing the club...

Re: Beespod
Only halfway through so far. A good listen. Amazed that someone at the club is thinking of bringing Currie back. Can’t believe he would be silly enough to come back to this mess. Hasn’t (so far from that listened to) touched on the fact Kewell was sort out by the owner back at some point last season...

Re: Season tickets?
13 pages of fans frustrations, many Twitter posts etc just for the club to finally do one of its most basic functions as a football club and sell seasons tickets to its supporters.

Re: Is our club dying?
First year at the hive I sorted 5 tickets for friends and family, this year not one, including me for the first time in 15 years. Sat within a group of 20ish, at least 4 others no longer have season tickets, some including long term well know supporters not renewing for the first time this season. I...

Re: Season tickets?
Pedantic maybe.. but is it not actually £17.45 per game as there are 23 teams in the league next year? I'm not sure it is even a price freeze in real terms....isn't there one fewer league game this season compared to 19/20? They're including the Spurs U23 friendly in the calculation.... In the past...

Re: Still No News
Agree with Djhdjh. Also the article doesn’t say what role he was offered, just to stay. Could be second fiddle to someone else, which means he might as well go elsewhere for a coaching role.

Re: Still No News
Think the concerns have come from various suggestions, including Trevor's blogs, that contracts for next season hadn't been sorted with the key personnel.
I got the impression from a couple of places that today or tomorrow we might find out what is going on.
