Let's get through first. Although just being in the hat is a relief after some of yesterday's FA Cup upsets.

Re: Aveley (away) The Mammoth Task Match Thread
This is a game that has has all the hallmarks of Carshalton a few seasons back. A banana skin to be avoided. Carshalton in 2018/19 was the FA Trophy, not the FA Cup, we drew 3-3 away then won the replay 2-1. We did lose to Carshalton in FA Cup but that was over 40 years ago. Sorry, I should've made...

Re: Dorking (Away) The Dorking Pictures TV Match Thread
Winning a fourth title would, of course, be brilliant, but, failing that, securing the best possible place in the play-offs is crucial. We don't want any more of this play-offs play-off nonsense (I have a strong suspicion that a revitalised Sarfend might just sneak in).

Re: Dorking (Away) The Dorking Pictures TV Match Thread
Chesterfield fans seem convinced we are going to fall away. It was the same with Carlisle (and Stevenage's Westley) and Brizzle Rovers supporters. Let's hope history can repeat itself.

Josh Vickers
My thoughts are with him and his family and friends following the tragic loss of his wife, Laura. She was no age. Times like this make you realise there is more to life than football. RIP Laura. God bless you Josh.

Re: Transfer Targets??
You’d of thought he wouldn’t of left without something lined up but it seems he’s still without a club. Suggests an inflated sense of his own ability / worth? Perhaps he's got an EFL club lined up, but can't sign for them yet due to the transfer window. He could've missed the August deadline, but i...

Re: How to improve attendances?
For what it's worth, I think most long-term fans would still pay to be in the Legends' Stand, such is the superior view. But we probably need a cheap option to get new supporters into the ground – then they can upgrade after getting a taste for coming. Good point. When we started watching Barnet at...

Re: Altrincham (Hive) The Alt in Our Stars Match Thread
If chesterfield fans mean by the general public they are right. Unless you follow a club at this level then odds are you know fuck all about football at this level. Most will look at the teams in this division and assume that it’s all about chesterfield, Oldham and Southend. I quite like being &quo...
