Re: Farsley (Hive) The HOW MUCH? Match Thread

Still no statement from the club beyond that of our manager yesterday. Really not good enough is it. Sent from my SM-G960F using Tapatalk I've upgraded the lynching to a firing squad. This is disgraceful. Have you thought of launching your own app. It could generate random sarcastic comments for wh...

Re: Farsley (Hive) The HOW MUCH? Match Thread

"Your memory is selective, Dick." Just remind me how many games were missed that month John? I would have thought with this wonderful new stadium with new pitch and presumably new drainage that no bad weather would cause games to be postponed. It was around 4, maybe more,if I remember rig...

Re: Farsley (Hive) The HOW MUCH? Match Thread

Why not just calm down a little and wait for the statement from the club?

As an aside if it is the drainage and it broke down during the course of the season when do people think the best time to fix it would be?

In the meantime I firmly believe someone should hang for this.

Re: Farsley (Hive) The HOW MUCH? Match Thread

Perhaps we should play the rest of our home games on one of the pitches at Barnet Playing fields. The chairman can then concentrate on building the new stand he wants at the training ground. In the 50 years of going to Underhill don't seem to recall so many games postponed in a couple of week, but ...

Re: Farsley Celtic (away) The Diverted Match Thread

"Haven't we gone through this a million times before? . . ." We have and my question remains, who is it a good deal for? Certainly not for Barnet fans who for some reason either can't get to a game or will not. So you do the answer but are asking again anyway. Trust me. It wasn't a good d...

Re: Farsley Celtic (away) The Diverted Match Thread

"I'd rather pay for a commentary with a Barnet slant than a free one . . ." I'd like to listen to a Barnet commentary, but refuse to pay when nearly every other non-league club can supply a free service, cannot understand why we can't. But you know why? When did you last work for the club...

Re: Halifax (Hive) The Overdrawn Match Thread

"Because the club is in a long term deal signed years ago for an up front fee. You been away?" Who benefits from this up front fee? Doesn't seem to be the fans, should we just add it to the list? And yes I have been away. Got back on Friday, and yes it was lovely, thanks for asking J_c. D...

To be fair, at least they supply a commentary which may be a bit biased, but is free. Why can't we?

Re: Currie out

At least bringing Allen back would back some enthusiasm, even if he brought in a lump up front There is no budget to bring anyone in, lump or otherwise. This seems to be passing people by. TK said there is NO more money. Simple as that. We hear about the south stand development soon don't we. That'...

Re: Staines (Hive) The Massive Attack Match Thread

Match postponed. No reason given. Very odd. Jokers - £5 down the drain!!! Why £5 down the drain? The club have said that tickets will be valid for the rearranged date. Presumably if you can't make that date, the club will give a refund? £5 I can't spend tomorrow on another game Also means another m...

Re: The Hive, Attendances and TK

Following TK's recent Q&A session does anyone know . . . 1. TK has said that, given our low attendances, it is only the income from his other businesses at THL that keep the football club afloat. Whilst not contradicting that fact: how have the likes of Fleetwood, Burton, Crawley, Forest Green,...
