Re: Furlough
So a player is injured, and so is furloughed straight away? The taxpayer pays his wages because he got injured? Furlough is for protecting jobs that would otherwise have been made redundant due to the pandemic. This is fraud ! His job isn't under threat, he just got injured. I hope hmrc eventually ...

Re: Bromley (away) The Bromley-By-Hoof Match Thread
Personally I just can’t believe what a numbskull Flowers actually was. I hope he listened to the interview Paul Fairclough gave. He may even learn something if he listens carefully. So refreshing but PF has only done what a lot of us have been saying. Keep the ball, show some intent and positivity a...

Re: Let's stay positive
1. Apparently it was a better performance. We lost 2 nil at home!!!! 2. Our average goals conceded has reduced as we only lost 2 nil. 3. Our best player had a rest so will be raring to go Saturday. 4. Wrexham will have more chance of pipping Boring Wood to the last play off place. 5. Didn’t have to ...

Re: Wrexham (Hive) The Gin and Bear It Match Thread
Our basic game plan seems to be to try not to let the other team score. Doomed to failure when we’ve got ZERO attacking threat in my opinion. I expect we’ll score 3 now since I’ve posted this.

Re: Wrexham (Hive) The Gin and Bear It Match Thread
Try to keep the goals against at a reasonable level. Still can’t see where the goals for will come from but hope I’m being overly pessimistic. I’ve got low expectations so can’t be disappointed. In theory anyway. Any more than 3 conceded and I reckon TF is toast.

Re: 2nd Instalment For Season Ticket
IT seems that some people think the Hive Foundation is a charitable loss making venture rather than a not for profit business that brings punters onto the HIve site and who bring with them an income stream for coaching fees which helps to support the wider business model and attracts costs recharge...

Re: Has Flowers lost the dressing room ?
Hold on I’m as sad as anyone that DC left but the comment ‘he never gave DC the chance to build his truly home side’ is a complete distortion of what we seem to know about why DC left. It’s been said that DC was happy with the budget but wanted a ‘bit more’ salary for him and Junior. Quite rightly w...

Re: Has Flowers lost the dressing room ?
I cannot remember a manager bringing in players such as the five or so defenders TF has brought in and then going public stating things such as " there not listening " " you cannot defend like that, they should play with kids in there garden " you might say these things in the d...

Re: Yeovil (Hive) The Under the Scrump Match Thread
I listened to the Tim Flowers interview and got the distinct impression no one is listening to him despite him telling them over and over and over again to listen. It must be so frustrating when no one listens like they used to listen at his previous club. So Listen Tim do the right thing and listen...

‘Four minging goals. Wasn’t like this when I was at Solihull. I’ve told them and I’ve told them. They can do one as far as I’m concerned.’

A positive is at least he wasn’t sent off in his first game like most of the new comers.

Re: Hartlepool (Away) The Match Thread aka. Wade Wilson
One positive for me was that we seemed to defend the restarts much better. No attacking outlet and relentless pressure meant eventually we would concede. So overall a fair result and we go again on Tuesday.

Re: Kings Lynn (Away) The Outer Linnets Match Thread
KLEANTHOUS, you totally fucked up and made your biggest mistake you have ever made since you too control of this football club by both not agreeing to Darren Currys wishes and then worst still letting him go, then to cap it off you wait so long to decide this before bringing in a manager miles of t...
