That's a fair point, although we don't seem to have too many other options at the moment.beeamazed wrote:Alas time is of the essence here .

Re: Port Vale Preview
Despite his goal, I think Taylor is a very poor player. If I were still playing centre back ,I would love to mark him. I might even bring along a book to read.... 8-) Stuart Holden might lend you the book he was reading in the last minute. I've not seen enough of Taylor to draw any conclusions but ...

Re: Port Vale Preview
The first job was to steady the ship and unbeaten in 4 does that. We are unbeaten in three away games, which under Stimson would never have happened. There are 19 games left and an awful lot of points up for grabs. A win on Saturday and this will look like a very good point and see 9 points from the...

I'd take a point now if offered and look to Saturday for all three.

Re: Thank God for female officials....
No sympathy for Gray, but I find it strange that this new evidence suddenly appears just a day after linogate. I'm sure it's got nothing to do with him suing the NOTW. Smells of a stitch up, but if he didn't act that way they couldn't have got him.

If the Lincoln and Leyton Orient fans are anything to go by they may still be shipping goals with him in the side.

Re: Macclesfield V Barnet
I presume that the PA person at the game said Barnet has scored a penalty and whoever puts it on the wires presumed that Barnet was Tyrone Barnett and therefore Macc had scored. Despair to joy!

Re: Ivan Sunday
It's great when these players come out of nowhere and go on to be stars. Been a while since that's happened to us though. In fact, I can't think of a player since Andy Clarke.
Let's hope there isn't too much U2 being sung on the terraces.

Hmmm ... this doesn't sound too encouraging, re Tommy Fraser: http://www.fansnetwork.co.uk/football/portvale/fb_news.php?storyid=11007 It's always interesting how fans react when a player leaves, but the general consensus I've seen is that he played a big part in stopping the rot at Vale, but perha...

Good luck with the board.
As someone who got sick and tired of the official board a long time ago, it is good to see a new forum which can hopefully offer a platform for decent debate.
