Carlisle United (H) The McMatch Thread
So... Saturday sees the bees take to the field versus Scotland's finest, as they make the long trip down the M6 to experience the delights of the training ground.
After a decent draw and performance at Crawley the bees will be hoping to continue their fine unbeaten form in the league. With Gambin missing last Saturday Allen will be keen to Scotch any rumours of him being unSettled. Barnet will also be hoping to catch Carlisle off-kilter after their EFL heroics and our resident Disc Jock-ey will be aiming to build on by his improved performances by hitting the ach aye the net.
I am looking forward to this one, and hoping we will finally see the floodgates open for our fledgling Ak-Ak strikeforce.
In terms of team:-
--------------------------Stephens--------------------------
--Taylor-------Nelson-------Dembele-------Johnson----
---Weston-----Watson-----Togwell--------Gambin------
----------------Akinde-------Batt---------------------------
Subs: Vickers, Ngala, Muggleton, Nicholls, Akpa-Akpro, Champion, Vilhete

I've a free adult west stand ticket for tomorrow. If anyone knows someone who wasn't planning to go tomorrow but would with a free ticket, let me know. I'll be in the Hive bar from 1pm.

Less than 3 hours to KO and only 3 postings for this game. Has interest waned that much!?
I think we must score first or we'll struggle to catch up. Let's hope AA gets a run out and that we're not relying on Akinde too much.

Think it's more a case of not much to say. The team more or less picks itself so nothing really to discuss.

Let us hope that in training this week the team has been learning how to put away their goal scoring chances.

Hopefully Barnet player works today and we win. If that happens I will have no complaints.b4life wrote:People can't find much to whinge about.
Carlisle must hate having to do this journey on a bank holiday weekend

Like we did at Cambridge and against Blackpool?ETBee wrote:Less than 3 hours to KO and only 3 postings for this game. Has interest waned that much!?

Dembele an absolute liability injury wise (I presume he is). Sign a new CB who can at least 5 games in a row. Bench looks poor.

Good grief, Barnet player is working. Not doing this one as I cancelled membership. Went to the Accy game, will do half a dozen games this season, Son not bothering at all.

If Gambin is going then then why is he even on the bench. Either play him or play someone who has a chance to impact the game!
JCR is a 33yo who can't even make the squad ahead of Gambin who MA doesn't want to play anyway, Mauro who MA wants to leave, and Muggles who has, (barring his weapon), about as much attacking nous as.... N'Gala.
