I believe so, although it may be possible that a change to capacity limits was approved at some stage. I can’t say I have been following that side of things recently although I would imagine a permanent capacity increase would be a pretty contentious issue locally.MCB wrote:So unless we have applied for it (and sure we would?) capacity for the Brentford game would be 5,176Hiveoccupier wrote: When we exceeded the 5,176 capacity previously it was announced that a temporary increase had been agreed with the Council for the match in question.

Website said south terrace was sold out last night, my theory is that the original allocation for the south stand has sold out, and they’ve opened up more sales to get closer to its capacity of 1000 or so.

Perhaps this also reflects the release of places of members who haven't yet bought their tickets for the game as per the following message.beesknees99 wrote:Website said south terrace was sold out last night, my theory is that the original allocation for the south stand has sold out, and they’ve opened up more sales to get closer to its capacity of 1000 or so.

"Members & Season Ticket Holders seats will remain reserved until midday Wednesday 16th January. Thereafter, all tickets will be on general sale."
Re: Big Queue at the Box Office
OK, looks like Brentford are only receiving the Stand 66.
Not sure why they are selling 1620 and then the other 300? Is this due to reduced capacity, and if they don't sell, they can open up Block G?

Re: Big Queue at the Box Office
Maybe they are not selling the front three rows as per Stockport.
Re: Big Queue at the Box Office

I think 1,920 is the capacity including rows A and B.

EDIT - no sooner had I written this, than the last two tickets had gone.
South Stand officially sold out!

Seating room only folks!
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: Big Queue at the Box Office
It's a shame there are so many individual seats peppered around the West Stand which will put some off booking if cannot sit together.
I guess the club needed to honour the fact that members get first option to bagsy their seat.
May the real Bees win !

Re: Big Queue at the Box Office
I suspect that there must be quite a few members who can't do the Monday night. My father was very disappointed the game was on the Monday - he's 77 and travels from near Southampton from home games, but gave up midweek fixtures a few years back on the grounds that he doesn't get back until after midnight. I have to admit I find it increasingly tough getting up to commute into London at 6am when I've got home after midnight after a midweek game. So far I haven't skipped a first team fixture, but in previous years I probably would have gone to the Middlesex Senior cup tie on Tuesday.hoofer2 wrote:It's a shame there are so many individual seats peppered around the West Stand which will put some off booking if cannot sit together.
By the time you add in members who have work issues and kids with parents who won't let them out on a school night, there is bound to be a fair few members who can't make the game.
