More likely his agent won't let him play under TK.

Perhaps we will be competing for Joan Luque following his release from Daggers.

With news today that a package has been agreed with the govt to allow the NL season to start, i wonder if another couple of deals will be confirmed before the opening game?

Arrives from Mansfield.

108 league starts, 9 goals,

Strikes me as the kind of player that would have been hoping for a league contract, now accepting offers lower down the ladder.

Turned down a 3 year contracts at Swindon in 2019. Also last game 01 Feb - so rusty?

Interestingly the intro states "Our newest recruit, who is likely to partner with fellow new addition Ben Nugent" implies a flat back 4 and Harry Taylor in Midfield? (Or am I reading too much into that).

What formation have we played pre-season?

Lots of positivity regarding his signing at Mansfield at the time - https://www.stagsnet.net/news/newsdetai ... ewsid=9270

We've played a back 4 in every game.

It was 4-3-3 against Dartford.

That appeRs to be a very solid signing. Agree with MCB. Possibly one that waited for a FL offer that didn't come. Solid powerful looking back four.

Very much the missing piece of the puzzle.

As per my match thread team I suspect that we will see 4-3-3 for the time being although it could easily be a 4-4-2 with wes on the left and EMC on the right

Excited by this signing and the JJ Hopper signing I think we have two decent players on our hands

I wonder if TK will allow possibly two more before tomorrow

I am usually very neutral about our new signings until I've seen them play but this guy sounds to be a good addition.

Hopefully a useful addition with his experience, another specialist CB was desperately needed.

Still need a left winger and a couple more backup players but at least we are nearly there now.

Given that we were having to start our defence from scratch, the signings on paper look very decent.
It's just the left side of midfield that needs a little tickle now, then I think our squad will be complete enough to start the campaign. It will still evolve as we go through the season.

Pleased with this, four solid units across the back, all with experience without being too old. The frontline looks good too. I just hope that our central midfield proves to be more creative and mobile than I think it is (I wonder if he can get the best out of Wesley? It could be a big season for him). Over all pleased with what PB has conjured up though.

On the face of it some promising signings but we must give then time to settle-in. I know hard to find but I most want to see a midfield forward passer. McBurnie? Richards?

Agreed, I was wondering the same thing. Perhaps Richards has been brought in for that purpose, he certainly passed the ball well enough at Hitchin, whether he is able to influence games in the NL only time will tell. My main concern is the pace of our midfield. Harry is obviously a willing runner, but Dunne really seems to be struggling. He also gave the ball away a lot at Dartford, often when under no pressure from an opponent.
