The balance of play has been quite even and it was definitely a penalty. The thing was, it was basically a self-inflicted wound by Pompey. They had a throw-in halfway inside our half, Enda Stevens tried to steal yards and the ref reversed the throw-in award. Muggles launched it into their area, there was an almighty scramble and big John was felled.

This formation has worked so far. It's not been pretty but Pompey have created very little. Our midfield has been aggressive with Curtis being at the forefront. Muggles can take a pretty good corner but he can't cross from open play.
