So we’re 16/1 with Sky Bet to win the conference. Chesterfield 6/1 faves. We’re joint 6th favourites with about 6 other teams.

Well done jzsbee. I usually post Bees-related horses on the Save The Bees thread. Another Batt was mentioned yesterday. I'm pleased you won. There's others racing today, check out Save The Bees for other possibilities racing today.

Thanks Hoppy, I will check it out although betting on Barnet has not been so profitable lately!

I think we were 20/1 last time around. But to bookies, we're probably at our weakest now, so perhaps the best chance to lump on.

Wonder what odds we'll get for Tarpey being top scorer - could go any way. Some bookies will only have noted he hasn't scored for us in 6 months....

These are very early odds on next season (from BetVictor)

Chesterfield 8/1
Leyton Orient 8/1
Salford City 10/1
Wrexham 10/1
BARNET 10/1
AFC Fylde 12/1
Aldershot 14/1
Ebbsfleet 14/1
Sutton Utd 14/1
Boreham Wood 16/1
Hartlepool Utd 20/1
Dagenham & Redbridge 25/1
Dover 25/1
Eastleigh 25/1
FC Halifax Town 25/1
Gateshead 25/1
Havant & Waterlooville 33/1
Braintree 33/1
Harrogate Town 33/1
Bromley 33/1
Maidstone Utd 40/1
Solihull Moors 50/1
Barrow 50/1
Maidenhead 50/1

Although these odds are early some have changed even since yesterday. Barnet in from 16/1 to 10/1 is a big mover, Chesterfield out from 6/1 to 8/1.
Any "value" bets here?
Possibly each way (1st three) on Dover at 25/1,Bromley at 33/1, Maidstone at 40/1
10/1 on the Bees is a mean price, ok if we win the league (unlikely) but not generous enough for the each way. 16/1 was about right.

Updated odds.

Chesterfield 7/1. SkyBet
Salford City. 7/1. Betfair
Leyton Orient. 12/1. SkyBet
Wrexham 12/1. Wm Hill
BARNET. 14/1. SkyBet
Aldershot. 16/1. SkyBet
Sutton Utd. 16/1. SkyBet
Dagenham & Reddbridge. 20/1. 188Bet
Boreham Wood. 20/1. Wm Hill
Ebbsfleet Utd. 20/1. Wm Hill
Hartlepool. 20/1. SkyBet
Dover. 25/1. SkyBet
Bromley. 35/1. 188Bet
Harrogate Town. 35/1. 188Bet
Havant & Waterlooville. 35/1. 188Bet
Halifax. 40/1. Wm Hill
Barrow. 50/1. SkyBet
Braintree Town. 50/1. BetWay
Eastleigh. 50/1. BetWay
Gateshead. 50/1. Wm Hill
Maidenhead Utd. 50/1. SkyBet
Maidstone. 50/1. BetWay
Solihull Moors. 70/1. 188Bet
AFC Fylde. 150/1. Marathonbet

The 150/1 on Fylde looks strange. Worth an each way punt if these odds are genuine from Marathonbet.

Fylde are actually my favourites to win the league next season just ahead of Shots, O's & Wrexham (and maybe us). I'm sure the 150/1 is a mistake.

I just cant see chesterfield starting well enough. When MA rejuvenated us, he has some games the season before to see what was needed and not just on video.

BR showed a slow start to the NL makes it almost impossible to win. They went on an insane run and still couldnt quite pip us.

I think Chesterfield will win it - providing MA sees it through. If they hit a sticky patch and start to drop a few points, I can see him quickly becoming disillusioned, especially being southern based.

He also managed to reguvinate Gills without any games he season before. It's a tough call though because I'm sure we all expected him to do better with Eastleigh.

Anyone having a flutter on England?

Best odds:
England win 1/2 (MarathonBet, BetVictor, Unibet,BlackType,SpreadEx,RoyalPanda)
Tunisia win 8/1 (Bet365, Betfair, BoyleSports,BetWay,MatchBook, BetFred)
Draw 7/2. (Bet365, BetFred)

No-ones gonna get fat on the England win. 7/2 for the draw looks tempting.

There's money going on the Bees.
Best price for Barnet to win the National League is now 12/1 (188Bet)
Salford are still 6/1 favourites, with Chesterfield at 7/1. Leyton Orient are 14/1 with Aldershot and Wrexham both at 16/1.

Less than two weeks before the big kick-off.
These are the best prices available to win the Vanarama National League.

Salford. 9/4
Chesterfield. 8/1
BARNET. 14/1
Fylde. 14/1
Leyton Orient. 14/1
Aldershot. 16/1
Wrexham. 20/1
Boreham Wood. 25/1
Ebbsfleet. 25/1
Hartlepool. 25/1
Sutton. 25/1
Dover. 28/1
Bromley. 35/1
Eastleigh. 40/1
Halifax. 40/1
Harrogate. 40/1
Havant & W. 40/1
Dagenham & R. 50/1
Maidenhead. 50/1
Maidstone. 50/1
Barrow. 66/1
Braintree. 66/1
Gateshead. 80/1
Solihull Moors. 100/1

It seems bookies and/or punters think it's Salford's title. I would like to think not.
The 14/1 on Barnet seems about right.
20/1 on Wrexham looks interesting.
Any thoughts folks?

With Salford dominating the market (2/1) , predictably, the odds of the other clubs are starting to drift.
Chesterfield are now 10/1, Fylde and Orient 14/1 and Barnet are now at 16/1 (that is with Bet365)
I would expect other bookies to go out to 16/1 and, maybe, even more.
I will keep you updated, but, meantime, don't accept mean odds.

Here we go again, folks!!

Best prices.
Aldershot win 5/3 (MarathonBet
Bees win 9/5 (SportingBet)
Draw 5/2 (Bet365)

I'm gonna sit on the fence. Draw for me.
