Stevenage Away
Stevenage Away
Whilst the season is over, big game for us fans and the importance of the game for Stevenage. Should be a great crowd there.
How many will we take? 800 - 850? The support last season was fantastic, good to replicate that.
Those who are heading up early, where are people drinking? Our group are going to the Wetherspoons in town? Thoughts?

I always look forward to this fixture but I'm really struggling to muster the enthusiasm this season. Its only about 20 minutes from me, but we were so so bad on Saturday and not sure I can suffer watching us get battered by the chavs (again!)!
Re: Stevenage Away
It's the last big game of the season (apart from Luton) which is more reason to go imo. We have a funny nack of getting a result when written off. The return of Weston and an in form Akinde is huge for us.

One cautionary word though... I drive past their ground every day going to and from work, and it looks like the Circus is in the open car park over the road where we normally park. I'm not sure whether they are setting up or packing up to leave. I'll keep everyone posted as the week goes on.
Bear in mind that you won't be able to park in the Roaring Meg retail parks as they impose a time limit on matchdays, unless you plan to leave at half time!

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Last season away at the Chavs it was one of the most dire games of football I've ever seen. Complete waste of time and a long and miserable walk back to the station.
We'll most likely get beaten on sat but I'm hoping the players decide to put a well needed shift in. There's about 10 of us going up on the train, and I know a lot of others coming too. Should be 600+ bees I reckon.

We were 4 last year, down to 2 this year. We had Batt up front on his own last year. 0-0 two awful teams wasn't it. There is actually something to play for though, the league is so tight that we could den't Stevenage's play off ambitions. That said I'm not going there with an expectations of an entertaining day out.Masuka wrote:Last season away at the Chavs it was one of the most dire games of football I've ever seen. Think we will just do the Old Post Office as it's next to the station so means the least amount of messing about.
Re: Stevenage Away
Decided before Saturday I will not be going. Remember eyeing the next 2 games up as huge games now they're meaningless for us.
Re: Stevenage Away
Personally don't get why you wouldn't go (aside from if you really can't). You follow your team whether your top of the league or at the bottom no? Part and parcel of being a football fan?

They bought 547 fans to THL in December, come on boys and girls we can easily take more than that.
