The 3 centre backs split and Santos and Tutonda (he was given licence to push on) spent all the second half playing as full backs with the wing backs pushing up even further. Only Clough was playing CB in the second halfMersault wrote:Waited to respond to reflect. Serious concerns with the management. Keeping 3 centres halves on to mark a non existent forward against 10 men, while forcing us to play long and narrow is beyond dull. Jack seemed to be playing at the back in the last 10.
Rudderless, no game management or game plan. I'll say it again. All our players look unfit.

I don't understand why strikers are worried about Akinde still being at the club. We are looking for a second striker and they would surely benefit from playing alongside him.Itai-bee wrote:On a positive note.
Jack Taylor is getting better with every game.Enjoy him while it lasts.
Clough looks like a very good signing.Good in the tackle, air and ground.
Fonguck is getting good game time and looks more confident with every game.Yes,he will make mistakes. That's part of the learning process.Think he will be a big player for us in the future.
Even though Tutonda's shooting wasn't very good .At least we've got a player that's prepared to shoot when the opportunity arises.
I understand that we've had bids for 2 strikers turned down.On the basis that they didn't think they would be guaranteed first team football while Akinde's still here.
So far,Barnet have turned down a decent offer for Big John by Luton.
Akinde is allowed to move if a club in a higher division come in for him.
Seems like we are Trying very hard to keep Akinde here as long as possible.

If they can't be bothered to do some basic research on the club, or don't believe they can get into the team over Shaq and JLAA, then frankly I don't want them here.Norfolkbee wrote:I don't understand why strikers are worried about Akinde still being at the club. The Times gave Stevenage's goal the goal of the day for League Two.
