Billericay would be an almighty banana skin...Oxford City vs Oxford United would get the cameras in...we'll get a dull L1 team away.

I don’t want the rest of the season to be a joyless slog, I demand an FA Cup run.
Heybridge Swifts home or away please.

Truro City. The first time since 1969 that Cornwall has had a team in the first round of the Cup is bound to capture interest and a decent following.

Seems a safe bet that Truro City home to a league club would be on TV. However I'm not sure about the 10 hours, 580 mile round trip, especially if we slipped up.

Preference is someone we could beat at home but I'm not sure that at the moment there's much choice there.
Away - Maidstone / Enfield Town, Brackley /Billericay, Shaw Lane Assoc ( but not Barrow), Bath ( but not Chelmsford), Tranmere

We'll probably get someone boring from L2 away and lose.

In theory easiest draws would be the two eighth tier teams left in - Heybridge or Hyde. Crazy that we played league games against Hyde four years ago and we're now four divisions apart.

I'd dearly love to visit Enfailed Town if they get through just because......but we need our season kick started so The Chavs away or home would do me thank you. We need a buzz not revenue.

Managing my own expectations.... A team in a higher division at least 75 miles away played in front of a stadium that is 25% full. Away support 115.

Oxford city away I would be happy with.
To be honest as long as we don't draw a league 2 team and we don't get drawn at the Hive I will be happy with.

Would you really prefer us to draw Bury, Rochdale, Rotherham, Shrewsbury or similar away? Several hours of travelling for a dull fixture at a ground we've been to before and probable defeat? Many of the L1 clubs are no more exciting than L2 clubs but they are more likely to beat us, especially at their grounds.

I get what you are saying, though it would be better to go to those places on a Saturday then on a Tuesday for a replay lol.
Shrewsbury is a good stop off at Bridgnorth before though.
Also it would be nice to visit the chippy opposite the Rochdale turnstile :)
