Just watching Tom Champion on Football Focus from Boreham Wood. Can't help thinking he should've been playing at Blackburn today had it not been for an inexplicable decision in the summer. Lesson: Don't get rid of players unless you replace them with something better.
Or in Barnet's at least something.

Yes saw him, and impressed at the ground. We may be there next season!

Said we should've kept him at the time. Certainly haven't changed my mind.

Champion was a pretty average DM at L2 level. Letting him go wasn't a bad decision, failing to sign a replacement was.

There were actually people on here a few months back claiming Barnet didn't need a DM because one would inhibit the team's style. :grrr:

:grrr: I was one of those people who were crying for us to sign a DM since August.

Because one position would make all the difference to the current form

We still wouldn't of been through to the next round, based on having DM!

Why don't you volunteer some of your time at the club, as you passed one of your coaching badges recently! It might be a learning curve for you.
