Onsite Parking on Matchdays
Usually I'd park on the roadside but for the Grimsby game I will be bringing my Grandad, an ancient Underhill goer from the war, who has finally given way to the idea of the Hive.
He's not so great on his feet so need to park onsite. What time is best to arrive there to ensure we get a space? I heard its first come first serve?

Re: Onsite Parking on Matchdays
Bound to be plenty of Grimsby fans using the carpark , traffic could be heavier than usual that day as Spurs @ Wembley v WBA so 2.30 would probably be ok - presumably you will be sitting so he could keep warm before kickoff in one of the bars.ccollis_869 wrote:Usually I'd park on the roadside but for the Grimsby game I will be bringing my Grandad, an ancient Underhill goer from the war, who has finally given way to the idea of the Hive.

2.30 is leaving it a bit tight. I suggest nearer 2.00.

Re: Onsite Parking on Matchdays
I get there about 2.15ish and normally find a parking space fairly easily. There have been exceptions and will depend on the away support/ other events taking place in the complex etc

Be there by 2pm. You have to go and buy a token and you can have a pint in the bar.

Re: Onsite Parking on Matchdays
Thanks for all your help guys! We used to sit in the old family stand from 2pm, As he always wanted to get there early, so sounds like I'll be fine
Re: Onsite Parking on Matchdays
Roads could be a bit busier on Saturday (to say nothing of the Jubilee line) with Spurs at Wembley, also a 3pm kick off.

If only my betting predictions were as accurate.hoppy wrote:Roads could be a bit busier on Saturday (to say nothing of the Jubilee line) with Spurs at Wembley, also a 3pm kick off.
