Jamal Campbell-Ryce

FGR fans on 1FF seem to think that he could be on his way to theirs. This is the first I’ve heard of it. To me, that is a move that doesn’t make any sense on any level (and yes JCR is often frustrating in the way he plays!).

Would be a huge loss if he was to leave, naturally very talented.

He played very well on Monday. His link up play with Brindley augurs well for the future.

I'd have KMB back! Scores goals from out wide and far more direct than JCR

When I've seen KMB recently he's played as he did with us. Occasions of brilliance but long periods of lack of interest. If he's not in the FGR team regularly that tells us something. We need players who give 100% all of the time - like JCR!

Bringing in half a team seems so desperate and would surely unsettle your team. Bringing in a left back from York surely doesn't help your team much does it? Seems so odd for FGR.

100% agree.

JCR is certainly the more endearing of the two but his slow attacking play is a major factor in us not scoring enough goals.

We need someone who really frightens defences and can put the ball in the net.

I'd happily swap the two but I can't see KMB wanting to come back after his last season here. If we can get a fee for JCR, though, that frees up funds for a crucial new CB or winger.

Swopping JCR for KMB has to be one of the daftest ideas I have seen on this website for some considerable time. At least JCR runs around a lot, albeit not always in the right direction, but KMB does nothing for the team. What short memories some people seem to have.

Up and to his red card at Preston KMB was our best player, after which he failed to replicate the same performance level.

The first of no doubt many silly rumours this month. Sell one of only two experiened 'old hands' (and one of the few who's playing quite well) to a relegation rival? Maybe we should let Chesterfield have Akinde while we're at it. No chance.

KMB's goalscoring is way ahead of JCR's. He was also capable of creating out of nothing which is what we need right now.

No way would I want KMB back! There must be better options out there. However I do agree that we need a winger who can deliver quick crosses into the box for Akinde & Coulthirst.
I love Luisma & really miss his skils!

There are already suggestions on here that there is a lack of morale/team bonding. I don't see KMB improving either of these.
