FGR now 1-0 up. Reuben Reid on his debut.

Crawley is an absolute must-win game.
Re: Chesterfield
If things stay as they are and we slip to the bottom, that should be the extra bit of motivation to sort out the management situation once and for all this week.
I see Macclesfield are being held 0-0 by Solihull Moors and Aldershot are winning away. That will only strengthen Aldershot's resolve to keep Waddock as they close the gap at the top. At least Chesterfield's goal difference has taken a pounding this afternoon.

We now have a game in hand on Chesterfield, but need to someone else to go on a bad run of form and hope we can start getting some points on the board

Chesterfield 4-0 down now. They may have signed players, but a gentle reminder we need quality over quantity.

Re: Chesterfield
Port Vale at home is one of FGR's more winnable fixtures to be fair.
It's still a 3 horse race in my opinion. Chesterfield will go and either us or FGR will join them.
Quite scary to see a gap open for the first time though.

Re: Chesterfield
Chesterfield last game of season might end up being a dead rubber.
Very long way to go though.
We've saved ourselves from relegation in the last few games of a season a number of times.
At the very worst we need to be in with a shout in the last month imo.

Re: Chesterfield
Totally. Their away record is better than their home record so normally I would say a point would be a good result. It wouldn't be. We really have to start winning soon or face the drop, whoever the manager is. Results went against us this afternoon apart from Chesterfield walloped but Accy away is always tough.beesknees99 wrote:Crawley is an absolute must-win game.
Re: Chesterfield
Every game has been for the last month at least, but it seems only the fans recognise this. Crawley seem to have found a bit of form recently so will be tough, not surprising, as every game is tough when bottom club!!beesknees99 wrote:Crawley is an absolute must-win game.

Re: Chesterfield
Two of accys goals were down to dreadful goalkeeping (by their new keeper) think they will be in the market again. Another team will go on a poor run and join the relegation race soon enough. Come on TK make your mind up manager wise and let's sort the squad out for the next tough few months.

Re: Chesterfield
Would not go that far yet, I mean we could lose at Crawley and then win all our remaining games and stay up.beesknees99 wrote:Crawley is an absolute must-win game.
