Your dad would not be the only one to be sad.

Indeed mate, as he took me along from a nipper in the 60's it really hurts me too.
Re: Not for the faint hearted........
I dropped in to the site this morning. Not a lot of progress since the earlier photos but they were in the process of dismantling the south stand. One of the guys told me that the plan was to ship the stand to "Harrow". It's not going to be a replacement for the current south terrace is it? With the prospect of relegation perhaps TK has decided on a cheap option.
The contractor also told me that the aim was to complete the job by 26 March.

I heard it was coming over purely to be stored until the club could find a buyer for it.
Would be nice to have a little piece of Underhill (Rowan)erected at the Hive, but on reflection that stand didn't run the full width of the pitch, and in some ways it probably wouldn't look right in amongst the larger stands we already have. I bet a few people would have been happy to snap up their old seats in it though.

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

I like that.
Keep going and you'll have enough for a new stadium one day, might take a while though.
