:hi: Oh one swallow doesn’t make a Summer but that’s what a motivated fit properly managed TEAM looks like.

Have to agree he kept them all motivated to the bitter end, performances were much much better all round. Not sure about the new players, but they are just that and no clue why anyone would start Bover or Nicholson ahead of Mauro, but the guy seems to be getting there... :hi: :hi: :hi:

To make those players in midfield into a competent unit takes some coaching - so great work. But l would start the team that finished with Akinola and Mauro ahead of Bover and Nicholson - mind you Bover was competitive and even won a few headers! They actually all looked like they knew their jobs - and it certainly wasnt the mythical Westley route one.

Yes but we would have won more easily with Jack Taylor and Mauro in the starting line up

Felt it the moment he was appointed.

Wonder if TK read my posts about the need to base teamwork as the priority rather than filling the line up with individuals. The Westley evolution is now well underway and will see us in the playoffs this time next season.

Yes, the league 2 play offs

We will not go down with this man in charge. No way :Drink1:

Before yesterday's game, there were comments on here about Westley's points-per-game return, which stood at 0.67.

It's up to 1.25 now...

Spot on Joss. I was involved in that and was defending Westley. As I was saying, it's a bit hard to judge him with so few games, but I've felt things have been improving, it's starting to feel a bit different and the stats don't lie. You even could argue 1.3 rounded up...!

Looking at his programme notes he certainly doesn’t lack confidence in himself and his abilities and at least in the Lincoln match and yesterday’s match it seems to be rubbing off onto the players.

Think psychologyly Chesterfields and FGR’s postponements helped. Can’t believe we have a chance (albeit still a big ask) of staying up. Well done GW, keep it up and bring on Tuesday... you never know!

I think we all need to remember not to get too high when we win and too low when we lose!

Wise words.

Joy is a fickle mistress. Evades us for months and comes when we least expect it. I hope she stays around for a bit.

We’ve got Graham’medal winner’ Westley.
Before kick off. When I saw that first 11. I thought we had Graham’ I haven’t got a clue’ Westley.’
I think we have the right manager for the situation we are in.
Fitness and Hardwork, organisation and desire for 90 mins will be what gets us out this mess.

Played four won one, drawn two and lost one is not too bad for starters. Not conceding and not loosing will do wonder for confidence. Looking at the highlights, there was actually some good football played - not what I was expecting from Westley!
