Isn't it nice for Nicholls to have this type of publicity instead of some of the vitriol that he was subjected to in the past!

I have to say that I was never impressed by him up until last month but since GW's arrival and his decision to deploy Nicholls playing off big John he's played extremely well and totally deserves his nomination, proving me wrong.

I always thought he had something about him after his first match and goal at Cambridge. Never understood how he, like Mauro, was kept in the sidelines for so long.

Well deserved and really pleased for Nicholls.

To be fair he was sidelined after a string of poor performances under Allen and then Eames. He's got a good touch and his finishing is excellent, but historic injuries robbed him of his pace which meant playing him in the wide role he's had for most of his career wasn't suitable anymore. Playing alongside JA seems to suit him perfectly.

I notice John Coleman of Accrington won manager of the month for Feb, the only game they dropped points in was at the Hive!
