Looking at his record he seems like the sort of player who could have offered something given the lack of options up top.

Presumably he was non contract so we would only have announced him if he was appearing in a matchday squad as happened with Briggs.

I agree but just think tutonda and brindley have so much to offer in a wing back role plus we do have 3 capable centre backs currently, will be very interesting what he releases an hour before kick off at Luton. (plus id be surprised if he allows the social media guy to give us the formation like he usually does when announcing the team)

I count 21 first squad players so. Maybe I've got something wrong:

Gk: Stephens, Ross, legg, Mackenzie-Kyle
Rb: Brinkley, h Taylor
Lb: totonda, Blackman
CB: Nelsinho, santos, Sweeney, clough
Mid: Weston, Watson, j Taylor, bover
Wings: Shaq, vilhete, akpa-akpro
Forwards: akinde, nicholls

Plus kyei, shomton, sule, fonguck
... All we have to do is keep winning the next game ...

I excluded tarpey and Elliott as being long term injured. I doubt that they will figure before the end of the season, but we can hope that they will be back for preseason!

I believe Harry won't be fit until next season.

Most of what MA has done makes perfect sense, but the Akinola situation...errr...

Agreed with both points.

Mauro is a huge loss.

Akinola has been under utilised. A great out ball when on the wings and, I think, takes the most pressure off John out of the 2nd striker options, in terms of being a target/hassling the oppo's defenders.

On the flip side, big opportunity for Kyei/Shomotun.

Happy with Sweeney being captain. Who thinks he'll be in centre midfield?

As long as that doesn't bring the clumsymiester back into the starting line up!!

Brindley started for the U23's so is obviously fit. Let's not do Square Pegs & Round Holes...
