How do you manage to drink on an empty stomach.

Sir I salute you, you must have the constitution of an Ox.
Due to his love of a cafe full english, with a side of baked beans.
Suspect I may divide the camp here, there is no place for baked beans at breakfast.

Too right. Fresh griddled tomato and at a pinch tinned. I spit on any full english that does not have black pudding

Still waiting for a response from the Eric Ronay Guide, aka Reckless , on this most post season of topics....my response on tomatoes at breakfast is none, if huge quantities of alcohol have been consumed the previous night..

"Full" English Breakfast the clues are there, the following list in whatever combination is ok with me.

Bacon
Eggs (however)
Sausage
Tomatoes (tin or fresh)
Heinz Beans
Fried Bread
Pudding
Liver
Hash Browns (not chips)
Mushrooms

However personally Black or White Pudding is a no no it's vile.
Beans or tin toms have to be served separately otherwise the breakfast becomes contaminated.
John Still has brown toast (trust me) with his while I prefer crusty white bread.
Sauces are optional although they spoil most things. But they must never be squirted all over but in a neat blob on the side of the plate otherwise you have contamination again.
It's quite simple if you don't agree eat at another table from me or accept that I am a fussy yet civilised breakfast diner.
Name drop: Lee Harrison has everything on his plate but as you would expect he adheres to the rules above!
This is better chat than football :-)

:ohlord: :ohlord: If there is one thing other than his beloved Barnet that Reckless will gladly wax lyrical on its food, especially Breakfast.

And let's not forget a nice mug of tea. And I mean real tea (builders), not fruit tea, camomile tea, nettle tea, decaf tea or any other so-called healthy options. Not even coffee. It's got to be TEA.

Anyone for a little muesli with skimmed milk, fresh orange juice and whole wheat toast with a light covering of a poly unsaturated spread?

Hoppy your thoughts on tea are spot on. And don’t get me started on the nonsense that is the coffee industry
