Serious Protest at next home game

Post: # 254368Post iBee »

Enough is enough and I think everyone is in agreement with that.

There is only one man that need to hear and feel our anger and upset and that is TK.

I don’t want anyone boycotting the next match and not turning up, I want as many people there as possible, people that have stopped going for what ever reason to come to the game. And at a pre-arranged time in the game, maybe the minute of the match to reflect how long TK has been our Chairman, we all (or those that want to make a stand) calmly walk across the pitch, handover out memenership cards/tickets and walk out the ground.

The visual impact of the West Stand and South Terrace being emptied of supporters will be massive.

Who is up for this?

A bit difficult to hand over an e-ticket I think!
Is this going to be a serious protest as opposed to a comedy one?

The worst thing fans could do is give up and stop coming to games.

Tony needs to know that what is happening is not acceptable and that the majority of fans feel that way.

If people feel that seriously about it, why not do what Barcelona's fans did a few years ago.
When their side was playing poorly and losing, their fans all got white handkerchiefs out and started waving them to signal a surrender.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

That'll do it.

Great idea.
Being fickle football fans,Would we be able to get our membership cards back if we end up winning the match on Saturday?.

I am sure that TK once said in an interview he thought it was a good way to protest, or he liked it or something along those lines. So maybe a good idea.

Can I bring a white bed sheet to make sure it is clear?

So long as it's clean, we need a clean sheet on Saturday!

The thing about Bees fans is, we're generally pretty friendly and patient, bar a bit of booing occasionally.
We're unlikely to have some passionate angry demo, unfortunately we're more likely to just vote with our feet and do something else on match day when we each reach our own tipping point. It's clear numbers are on the wane but it's very gradual. I doubt we'll see much of a demo on Saturday but I dread to think what the home attendance will be.
And sods law, we'll probably win (3-1).
