Point taken, Sam. No more crude language mate.

However you allow thread titles with the f-word in them to stay on our official message board for two days? It doesn't look good when any managers, players or employees etc see that. :?:

Mate there's only 2 mods on this forum - and you have to take into account that they're probably fed up with the club at the moment too and don't fancy spending too much time on here.

We're fortunate that it's actually a decent place with minimal spam and personal attacks considering how things have been in recent years, and the broad church the club attracts...

Swear words are generally used quite rarely here and I don't think they typically cause much issue. However the posts above made a deliberate point of using loads of swear words just for the sake of it which was taking things a bit far.

If the membership start to get unhappy about swearing more generally then I guess we would then have to consider some sort of filter or start removing swear words. However I think we want to keep censorship to a minimum, though I cannot speak for Mikel.

Oh and your kind apologies are appreciated.

I didn’t go to the match on Saturday and saw the ‘highlights’ earlier today. My goodness, such pathetic defending for all three goals with no one tracking the runner throughout the reel and Cousins and our defencders blithely believing that the ball would go out for a goal-kick before Ebbsfleet’s third goal.
Again, our full-backs are faced with no option but to launch the ball long as there is no one playing in between the lines, trying to make a run behind the opposition defence or offering a shorter option. It also appears that they hardly ever get to the byline to achieve a good angle for a whipped cross, which means that ours crosses are easier to defend against. With tactics like these, how are we ever going to score?
There’s just so many basic problems with the way we’re playing; the tactics, the lack of passing and movement, the slow tempo of our play, the disjointedness of our defence and a lack of cover from midfield and finally the low morale of the team that it’s very difficult to see how a big enough improvement can quickly be made to win some matches.

To be honest our 2 full backs were probably our best players on the day. Both were bombing forward and did get behind the opposition’s back 4 to deliver crosses. Some great crosses that caused Ebbsfleet’s defence problems, but we just couldn’t convert the chances, with at least 2 absolute sitters!!
Also when we did get in & squared/cut back balls into an area within the penalty box, we didn’t have attackers or midfielders showing desire to get on the end of them!!

Bleeding pressed submit by mistake..it’s late!!

Wanted to add that there was some great interplay again with our fullbacks, but the ball just doesn’t stick with our attackers! Either bouncing off their boot or slow movement!
Tutonda was direct and was a big threat. Alexander was the one probing between the lines!
There were some signs that we are starting to gel & we did play some decent stuff! The crowd began to get behind the team, but after the second goal went in the whole positive mindset of the team and fans drained!! A change in fortune has to come soon!!!

1. Don't criticise Still's tactics. He's a legend at this level and by far the best manager in this division.

2. Sparkes makes runs for the full backs.

Sadly Mr Still is in danger of becoming more bell end than leg end.

He needs to either get his shit together or get his shit together and go.
