One for the club historians

Post: # 254869Post bucks bee »

When was the last time that Barnet were positioned as low as 22nd in the National League (or its equivalent in the football pyramid)? My guess is that it was probably at some point between the years 1979 and 1982, when the club finished three consecutive seasons in the Alliance Premier League (the forerunner of the Conference) in 17th, 17th and 18th places. Otherwise, it would have been in 1976/77, when the club spent one season in Southern League 1st Division (South), in what would nowadays be Step 2 of the pyramid. Either way, it's been more than 35 years since Barnet last sank this low ...

When you're arguing with an idiot, make sure the other person isn't doing the same.
