Northern are announcing revised schedules each week on Monday or Tuesday, this week they are back to the replacement buses that take 3 hours however the 2 Saturdays prior to this some trains have run on the route.

Hi all,

1st time post - just been looking up on the rail travel and the Bus Replacement from Lancaster to Barrow is only an hour. Looking at this weekend and previous weekend's replacement buses they have left Lancaster station at 10:01, 13:02 arriving at Barrow 11:07 & 14:09 respectively.

Bus leaves Barrow at 17:20 and arrives at Lancaster 18:21. These are also the times given if you try to book tickets now for 27th October (so confirm timetable on Monday when it should be released).

The 3 hour bus replacement is from Carlisle to Barrow.

The club were approached about putting a coach on, but was advised it wouldn't be considered

This is the link to this weekend's replacement service:-

The train is running tomorrow between barrow and Lancaster that is why it is 1 hour rather than 3

That is good to hear.

Plenty of injury time expected then.
