Don't anymore now I bring my kids, doesn't mean I don't still need it.

Can't remember the last time I stepped foot in a Wetherspoons - i'd rather put money into the clubs & TK's pocket than Tim Martin's.

The Harrogate game made me think - they had a wonderful branded real ale for sale. Why the hell can't we manage it? Are we restricted to what we can sell? With so many trendy breweries why can't we get Camden brewery or Hammertown to knock up a 'Bee Army Ale' or similar?
You could pop over to Hadley and drink their own ale. Rah Rah Rah.

Went into the Wetherspoons near Farringdon station last month and had to pay £3.75 for a pint of IPA (the cheapest bitter they had)! Outrageous - I used to be able to buy a pint of Theakstons in Wetherspoons pubs for 99p!

No wonder the pub trade is screwed at the moment when even Wetherspoons are charging rip off prices like that. Tesco sell FOUR cans of IPA for £3.75. OK, some mark up is to be expected to pay for for rent, furnishings, insurance, electricity, staff wages, etc. But FOUR times the price!

I would be happy for bottles of Banks's AMBER Bitter as an alternative for Theakstons.

1) Vodka coke is a pansy drink

2) £5.50 is actually a decent price for London

3) Bring a big flask of whiskey

London?
It's Edgware, at a football match!
Not Covent Garden!
And maybe he was buying it for a female companion.

I had noticed on Facebook that young Foxy appears to have a new lady friend these days. Maybe he was actually buying the cocktail for her?

Foxy you need to confirm so we can carry on taking the piss :-)

You are aware that London isn’t just Soho and Covent Garden aren’t you? 2 pints were £11 in Finsbury Park on Friday evening. Stupidly expensive but very delicious.

Finsbury Park is just somewhere to change trains isn't it?
:-)
I admit I may have a slight preference for certain areas.

Fortunately I was just gone to see a friend. Far too many Arsenal fans round there for my liking. There’s some cracking Turkish restraints by there though and the fullback has one of the best beer gardens in London, admittedly that’s not particularly hard.

Hahaha. *restaurants.

Turnpike Lane is probably the place to go if your look for restraints.
