Re: Wes Fonguck
Hope he sends a thank you card to Rubbish Rossi. If it wasn't for his former 'manager,' he would still be a Football League player.
Re: Wes Fonguck
Looking at the Fylde highlights confirmed my impression that when Wes gets the ball he waits until there are one or two defenders in front of him before he makes a move. It's as though he wants to show that he can beat them instead of quickly passing or crossing the ball. Sounds like Darren Currie except that DC could beat the opposition!
Re: Wes Fonguck
PS. Congrats to him on being selected.

What a downright weird comment.adher36 wrote:Hope he sends a thank you card to Rubbish Rossi. If it wasn't for his former 'manager,' he would still be a Football League player.
Yes, Wes is still developing as a player but it's clear from his recent performances that he's deserved his place in the first team. Congratulations on being called up Wes!
Re: Wes Fonguck
If it wasn't for Rossi, maybe he'd not be playing for Barnet first team and selected for England C?
Regardless, it's a downright rude comment and totally out of place on a Congratulations thread.

Point 1: Wesley wouldn't be able to send Eames a thank you card with his England C call up if we were still in the football league as you have to be playing in Non Leagueadher36 wrote:Hope he sends a thank you card to Rubbish Rossi. Point 2: Eames was the 'Manager' who trusted Wesley in the 1st team and brought him through the Academy.
Point 3: Have you lost your virginity yet Adam?

Points 1 and 2, fine.
Point 3, FFS grow up! Trying to embarrass someone on social media.
Pathetic!

Point 4: The thread was about congratulating Wesley, not to slate a former manager who did fail as a 'manager' but also did a lot for the football club and Wesley.
Re: Wes Fonguck
Good luck to him. I think he is the most improved player this season and can only see him getting better.

Of all the individuals responsible for last year's mess, you choose to go after Rossi? Really? Did the McGhee era pass you by or?adher36 wrote:Hope he sends a thank you card to Rubbish Rossi. If it wasn't for his former 'manager,' he would still be a Football League player.

4 people to blame - RE,MM,GW & TK! unfair to split it down to 1 of them#Beebot wrote:Of all the individuals responsible for last year's mess, you choose to go after Rossi? Really? Some people would have us purely blame Coventry City!jerroll wrote:4 people to blame - RE,MM,GW & TK! unfair to split it down to 1 of them#Beebot wrote:Of all the individuals responsible for last year's mess, you choose to go after Rossi? Anyway- saw a maturity in Wes in the Brighton game, and JS has had to put trust in him due to injuries and we're seeing the benefits of an extended run in the team. At his age he's never going to get everything right but great to see him playing so well.

What odds we get through 4th qual rd of FACup & draw Coventry in RD1!!MCB wrote:Some people would have us purely blame Coventry City!jerroll wrote:4 people to blame - RE,MM,GW & TK! unfair to split it down to 1 of them#Beebot wrote:Of all the individuals responsible for last year's mess, you choose to go after Rossi? Would love to get through and take on Coventry at home. Their support last season was great.
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
