Bristol Rovers (Hive) The Rover Filled Cup Thread
So..... Sunday sees the BBC respecting remembrance Sunday by scheduling fixtures at lunch time, including the bees Cup game against League 1 (sigh) Bristol Rovers.
With Rovers due to bring 100,000 supporters it is a mystery how the Hive will cope with the hordes of people flocking to Harrow. I can only think that Tony is thinking of erecting a giant screen on the training pitch for those unlucky enough not to get in.
In terms of team lineup there were some encouraging returns on Tuesday, notably Harry Taylor and it awaits to be seen whether any of these will make the bench for Saturday. One thing for sure is that we cannot count on Duku as he has been frozen out by Still.
In terms of team lineup I think we need to approach this one more cautiously and give our defence some protection against what will be a strong and pacy lineup. I would go:-
-----------------------Matrevics----------------------------
---H. Taylor-----Sweeney-----Reynolds-----Johnson---
---J. Taylor-----Adams---Robson--------Fonguck-------
----------------Coulthirst------Tarpey----------------------
Subs: Alexander, Cousins, Barham, Walker, Mason-Clark, Sparkes, Tutonda
I am going to this game, travelling to the Hive straight after our remembrance Sunday service. Hope we put in a good performance.

After last Saturday , should that be lucky enough not to get in. Though of course I wasn't there, just going from the comments. Let's play the Wild Rover(s)...

There is no way that that team or formation will be picked!

But it's intriguing to think how still will approach the game. Maybe bring in Sweeney for jack Taylor and play either him or one of the other CB alongside Adams in a flatter 3-5-2rudebwoyben wrote:There is no way that that team or formation will be picked!
As long as it's not the same team/formation as vs Maidstone otherwise they'll piss all rover us.

Probably a daft question but was never a member until last night.
Will the membership card alone gain me entry, or is it different for FA Cup games?

This is wrong, I heard last night they had sold 1100 tickets so far, I doubt they will bring 100,000 fansBee_Forever wrote:So..... Sunday sees the BBC respecting remembrance Sunday by scheduling fixtures at lunch time, including the bees Cup game against League 1 (sigh) Bristol Rovers.

Sweeney didn't look great in midfield against Wembley, can't play him at centre back. He needs to sit out for a few games

Preview of tonight's Haringey vs AFC Wimbledon tie mentions a Cypriot defender who was on trial with us during pre-season but failed to make the cut...

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

Disagree need some physical presence back in the team. Too one dimensional vs Maidstone. Get him back in.
