FA TROPHY

Post: # 260624Post hoppy »

The draw made today (we don't come in yet) includes Concorde Rangers v Wealdstone.
That's Nana Kyei v Shomotun and Joe Payne.

I was hoping that Wingate & Finchley could get through the next round and get drawn against us but they've been drawn away from home against Chippenham Town of the National League South, which looks too tall an order for them.

Chippenham looked very decent when I saw them at Maidenhead a few weeks back, though Maidenhead are terrible at the moment.

The draw for the 1st round takes place on Monday.
It's on Talksport 2 at 2.30pm.
As if Monday's aren't depressing enough!!

It's looking more and more like a salt and pepper season and we are in no danger of going down.
Have a go at the FAT BFC! It ain't happening for me at the mo.

That post says it all. Although in past year's , roughly equal points from playoffs and relegation at this stage, normally results in us looking downwards rather than upwards....

Hopefully they’ll let members / season tickets holders in free or could be a very low attendance.

Lol. Not much chance of free entry, but either way it's going to be 3 figures. At best we're looking at about 950 for a home tie unless we get one of the larger teams.

Truro AWAY please. They beat Greenwich Borough 3-0 at their temporary home Plainmoor at the weekend but are scheduled to be back playing in Cornwall at Treyew Road, Truro for for the next round of the FA Trophy (long story).

If the Bees are drawn to play in Cornwall, will it be our first ever visit to the county? I certainly don’t remember us having a game in Cornwall in the 40 years I have been supporting the Bees.

......further to this it has got me wondering if there are any other English counties that we have either never played in, or never played in competitively?
