Who do you want and who will be get?
Re: Who do you want and who will be get?
Woking is a far better draw than pretty much any Champ/L1/L2 team. Winnable tie, relatively local. I'd take that over Blackburn away.

I think we can all agree that Accrington Stanley away would be the worst possible draw, followed by Grimsby away!

So my Spurs season ticket supporting colleague reckons there is a very good chance if we draw Spurs away we would get moved to Milton Keynes.Hiveoccupier wrote:Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs away please. It would be really interesting to see how many people would turn out to support Barnet in a once in a blue moon game against one of the top 6 from London.
Can you imagine that?

Little doubt that Spurs would want to do that. I think they're only allowed so many games at Wembley per season by Brent council and we'd be a prime one to move.MCB wrote:So my Spurs season ticket supporting colleague reckons there is a very good chance if we draw Spurs away we would get moved to Milton Keynes.Hiveoccupier wrote:Arsenal, Chelsea, Spurs away please. The only possible saving point would be from the BBC. If they chose it for the TV coverage they'd probably like the idea of the two closest together teams in the round (unless Liverpool draw Everton or Chelsea get Fulham) and being able to have a helicopter shot panning from one ground to the other.
Or I might just be clutching at straws!
Re: Who do you want and who will be get?
If we drew Spurs it would be an ideal test event for the new stadium @ 50% capacity!

I am going on holiday on Sunday 6th January late evening, it will be sods law it will be a juicy tie at some stupid time like 4pm on Sunday. We'll probably get Accrington or Woking away. I'd like Aston Villa away, a winnable Prem league team at home e.g. Huddersfield or Coventry at home, the latter so we can stick one to them for their last day failure to beat Morecambe.

I get back from India at 6pm on Saturday the 5th. Surely if we get a “big” team it’ll be moved to Sunday for tv purpose
Re: Who do you want and who will be get?
MAn City play Liverpool on the Thursday night before so even if it wasn't on TV should we draw either its likely to be on the sunday!
Re: Who do you want and who will be get?
I'm due to be working in Edinburgh when 3rd round replays take place. Can just imagine having to fly down to London for a big replay after work and get back the same night or for 9am the next morning. Would cost a bloody fortune!
Re: Who do you want and who will be get?
Would love Woking at home.
Re: Who do you want and who will be get?
Unfinished business with Woking. They dispatched us 2 seasons running in FA Cup in '90s after replays....
That said....Jake Hyde got the winner in last round. Would nor want him to have a Buzaglo moment against us....

Who fancies Man Utd at home? Sell out at the Hive. Mourinho's side think they just have to turn up and win, we snatch a 1-0 win and the Glazers wield the axe. It would surely be the highest profile managerial casualty for someone after losing to "little old Barnet".
Cue Paul Ince drawing us away to Luton....

Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!
Re: Who do you want and who will be get?
My prediction- Stoke City...
Re: Who do you want and who will be get?
Anyone at home would do, if it's got to be away then somewhere interesting please.

Would rather have an away tie almost anywhere, rather than play at THL
We're the West Bank Underhill......
