I do a lot of driving it really is no bother. I get it if you are on the roads less frequently. With a win in the bag I will fly home!

BBC extended highlights:

Saturday 5 January 2019
Chelsea v Nottingham Forest (3pm)
Derby County v Southampton (3pm)
Everton v Lincoln City (3pm)

The broadcast fee for these ties is £6,750 per club.

Sunday 6 January 2019
Sheffield United v Barnet (2pm)
Manchester City v Rotherham United (2pm)

The broadcast fee for these ties is £50,000 per club.

That's a massive bonus
Doesn’t that fee look like an error, the other extended ties get £6750 & the only reason the 2 games are Sunday are down to City rivals playing on the previous day.

Would be nice but the extended highlights fee (when are they available?) has been £6750 for rounds 1 & 2 as well.

I think we’ll lose a good chunk of support now it’s Sunday as is clear by the responses on here.

That's what I thought but clubs being shown overseas also receive £50,000.

See general match day prices. £12, £7 & £3. Not too bad, if you are offered the choice of Bramall Lane upper or lower tier, go for upper, it’s a great view from up there.
Hope you bring plenty of support.

Thanks for your very helpful comments SW12 to S18.
Just one more thing, though.
Would you mind just having a word with SU's manager and very kindly ask him if he could pick his match day squad from SU's under 13 girls team?
Much obliged.

Our girls team had to play at Manchester Citeh the other night at 7pm. Due to kick off time six of them couldn’t make the match due to work commitments. They lost 6 - 0 !!

Our ladies team (London Bees) actually did play against Sheffield United Ladies a few weeks ago. Result a 2 0 win for the London Bees.
Maybe John Still should pick a few of our ladies!!

Exactly.
I can't believe that people are asking why the 2 Sheffield clubs can't both play at home at the same time!! Both grounds within a mile or so of each other, 2 sets of supporters who obviously don't like each other and who have in the past on many occasions caused large scale disorder. Throw the Luton lot into the pot and you have a recipe for chaos. Can you imagine Sheffield city centre, railway station or all local pubs in the vicinity of both grounds, there will be trouble and innocent people will get caught up.
The Police only had one option and that was to switch one of the games and unfortunately it was ours but to blame SYP is crazy. If it was that simple Arsenal and Spurs, Everton and Liverpool, Celtic and Rangers could all play at home on the same day!!

I'm impressed that Season Ticket holders & membership holders get a discount on their matchday tickets, we should do that for our cup ties.
