What on Earth would make you think that Image

We get much less than that at the Dive. Granted it’s the fa cup third round but 1500 has got to be some way off.

I’d love us to bring 1k but it’s pretty unlikely. 600 is my estimate.

When will we know when the match is likely to actually take place? Sheffield Wednesday are also at home so one or more of the games is likely to move from 3pm Saturday.

Trains in the UK really aren’t cheap are they, even if it’s Saturday you’re looking at a minimum of £70 return for a 2hr train journey.

As long as it's not a Friday or Monday game.....

A heroic draw and a televised replay at the Hive would do nicely. A real shame the TV cameras face the bleak East Stand and not the West.....

unless you book 12 weeks in advance which obviously we couldn't in this case!! It may also be cheaper to go KX - Donny then buy a day return from Donny to Sheffield for £4.80! hopefully date will be confirmed soon rather than waiting until replays are played next midweek!

Coaches are uncomfortable & don't have a buffet car plus for those who are so inclined you can't throw a face full of booze down your neck!!

Agree with all your succinct points, Jerroll.

Hopefully the club will put on coaches.

However, a few things which might help people with trains, if you are a regular railuser e.g. for away games then you might want to consider a railcard if you haven’t already.

- If you regularly travel with the same person, you can purchase a Two Together railcard for £30 for the two of you. This gives 1/3 off all journeys for the two of you. It’s only for off-peak journeys so can’t be used before 09.30 on weekdays, but the weekends are fine. My other half and I have saved a loads with this railcard. Just wish we’d known about it sooner. And you can get as many as you like with different people. You’d likely make your money back the next journey, and you can use it on things such as the airport express services and off peak 1-6 travelcards too. You must obviously stay together at all times.

- Unfortunately doesn’t apply to me anymore but the 26-30 Railcard is coming back, which gives 1/3 off. Most of us will be familiar from this from our younger days, they took it away but now it’s back. It costs £30 so another journey and you’d make your money back straight away. This will be available on 2nd January to buy and can be used straight away. However, check out the T&C’s as there are some restrictions on times of travel but you should be mostly fine at weekends I think. https://www.26-30railcard.co.uk/using-y ... s-tickets/

- If you have an annual season ticket and therefore a Goldcard, it means you can buy the Two Together (and maybe others) for £10.

- The Friends and Family Railcard might be helpful, though I know nothing about this one.

The last comment on this Forum from the SLG was on 5th May 2018. That was seven months ago!
Does it still liaise with TK?
If so, it would be nice to get some feedback.
