I think that he is being picked on past reputation rather than current performances. He needs the right striker with him to create any kind of potent strike force, something that we currently do not have. As a result Harrison is a bit of a luxury as he isn't a hussle and bussle holding player really, doesn't seem to have a high work rate ethic and doesn't live up to his good striker reputation. I just hope he is still getting back after his injury and will come good eventually, but I am not convinced we have sufficient quality in the team to hang around until this eventually happens without risking relegation.

I wonder what the endgame is with Harrison, as he's the wrong side of 30 and is on a one year deal. Is it worth starting him every week and alienating all our other strikers just on the off chance that he starts banging them in for a few months? It's not like we're going to get much out of him long term.

To me it seems like Still and Duku do not have a good relationship and that his loan will likely not be renewed. This is a huge waste and has been brought about by Still's obsession with Harrison and the largely needless signing of Bettamer.

The first thing you learn when you go into any management role ( not just football) is that you never have favourites, or if you do, that you make sure you hide it well. John Still has been in management for decades yet he seems not to know this.

The whole team was poor today so I'm not inclined to single out one player, however Shaq did more in his first few minutes on the pitch than Harrison had done in over an hour.

Still’s determination to have a ‘big man’ is showing him up to be embarrassingly outdated.

He’s stated that he wants to have such a player up front no matter what.

Duku might be better, but Harrison will always get the nod as he’s a permanent Barnet player.

But really, why can’t Still find a way to play without a ‘big man’? Especially given that we have so many other forwards available

It is. Maybe the club should release details on how some of our players are paid. Ie are some on bonuses for time on the bench/pitch?
