Re: Curry Permanent
Excellent news. The prospect of going into the Brentford game with uncertainty would have been ridiculous.
All the best Darren.

Fantastic news and well deserved!
Does Head Coach mean that a DoF appointment is imminent?

Re: Curry Permanent
it says all first team affairs so assuming there isn't a DOF.
I wonder if Junior Lewis or whatever his name is will stay or go to Maidstone

Re: Curry Permanent
yes well deserved, especially after some pratt said that Martin Allen was coming back.
how long is his contact for then? end of season?
I really hope the expectations are no more than "steer clear of relegation, give the cups your best shot, we won't judge you on the league position this season, but build toward next season".
Or has he been given a cheapie 6 months contract?

Re: Curry Permanent
He is head coach, so does this mean a new director of football?
Re: Curry Permanent
Just give us a top half finish, a good crack at getting to Wembley in the Trophy and a decent performance in front of the full house on Monday (even if we lose by 2 or 3), and I’ll be delighted. Good luck Darren!
Re: Curry Permanent
Not confident with this. Looked lost and clueless on the sidelines against Braintree.
Rossi all over again?

Re: Curry Permanent
Bit knee-jerk for me. I would have liked to see him in 2-3 more league games. The Braintree game was a complete debacle.
He's got my full support, but I am worried!

Re: Curry Permanent
Good luck to DC, Liked what he said after the shambles at Braintree and said it how we all saw it.
Re: Curry Permanent
Can't be many caretaker managers who get the permanent role after a 4-0 defeat
