Re: Sam Cox
No he played 10 league games, 1 league cup and 1 football league trophy game.
Re: Sam Cox
He was here for 2 seasons but was a fringe player in the first and Sanchez completely ignored him in the second.

Bizarre. My brain is telling me he played far more than that.

He's only about 5'9". He was never going to get in a Sannchez team that was full of Giants.#Beebot wrote:He was here for 2 seasons but was a fringe player in the first and Sanchez completely ignored him in the second.

Re: Sam Cox
I think I saw him at Underhill a few times with Andros Townsend before the latter hit the "big time".
Re: Sam Cox
Yes his dad says something similar. Lovely guy is Samuel#Beebot wrote:He was here for 2 seasons but was a fringe player in the first and Sanchez completely ignored him in the second.

Yes but being a lovely guy doesn't make someone a good footballer.alexbach wrote:Yes his dad says something similar. Lovely guy is Samuel#Beebot wrote:He was here for 2 seasons but was a fringe player in the first and Sanchez completely ignored him in the second.
Re: Sam Cox
He's a decent footballer, just not league standard. Being frozen out at Wealdstone apparently because his wages are too high, but I find that odd as they have to pay him until he leaves.
Re: Sam Cox
Not his fault they offered him a contract they can't afford!MCB wrote:He's a decent footballer, just not league standard. Being frozen out at Wealdstone apparently because his wages are too high, but I find that odd as they have to pay him until he leaves.
Re: Sam Cox
Maybe he was contracted to certain bonus payments for number of performances or similar? You do hear of players who are contracted to some sort of increment upon making a certain number of appearances but then their club has frozen them out to avoid having to make the payment?MCB wrote:He's a decent footballer, just not league standard. Or maybe if he makes a certain number of appearances that would trigger an option for next season?
Unless something like that applies, it makes no sense.
