My son travels from Hertford North rail station for work and has got to know the owner of the bar/cafe situated there.
He got chatting to him recently over a beer and football came up this last week after the amazing European results.
The owner guy then said, my Dad, who helps me out here, used to play for some London clubs and was at Barnet
from about '76 to '79 along with his brother Ray. They are Les and Ray Aggio.
I remember the names but am not sure how influential they were for the club. I was playing on Saturdays myself then so
i'm not sure if i saw much of them play which would have been more midweek probably.
Can you give us some more of your great Barnet history stories please Reckless - and others,
many thanks

Remember one or both had a newsagents in Barnet High Street " News and Chews " Think Ray might have started of at Wolves but can't be sure on that.
