Aldershot (hive) The Match Thread Soldiering on with 10 out
So... tomorrow sees the bees return to bananarama action after two wins on the bounce against military town Aldershot.
The shots have proven something of a watershed moment for managers with PF leaving three times after managing us against them.
Here's hoping Currieis not off like a shot afterwards. They will certainly be gunning for us and will have a strategy knowing we are averse to shelling it forward.
EDIT: With TK supporting Curries call for a strike-r. Our play will revolver round a mobile unit of three attacking forwards with a target man.
In terms of team lineup I guess it will be a repeater of Saturday unless any of our players are able to leave sick bay.

Subs: matrevics, vasilou, barham, Rowan, surprise-surprise
I am landing at Stansted at 5.30 hoping to get there.
Apologies for the late bullet-in.

Ironic that we are sponsored by Canon...
Barnet showing all the flair of Rupert-the-Bears trousers, but lots more style!

"With TK unwilling to support Curries call for a strike-r."
Really? What is your evidence for this statement?

Currie knows we need a striker. We haven't signed one. TK has final say on transfers.ETBee wrote:"With TK unwilling to support Curries call for a strike-r."

I don't have spies behind enemy lines but it all adds up.

TK won't always have the final say on transfers, not if he sanctions a deal then the player concerned decides for whatever reason not to join us.
I don't suppose DC would pursue a deal in the first place if he thought TK was going to veto it.

Good thread title but a subtle change: soldiering on with 9 missing.
.......Is it really 10 then?

I cannot get my head around why there is so much doom and gloom! We have had our best start in many seasons, we have a manager who is emotionally attached to what it means to represent Barnet, we have goals being scored across team including from midfield and centre half and only lost one game.
Things are building very nicely. Consistency is the key. Keep as we are and have every reason to hope for a strong finish this season.
The way we have coped with injuries shows this squad has depth and stronger than some give credit for.

DC wouldn’t sign another injured player. He just wouldn’t. Pavey had better be playing tonight.hoppy wrote:Time will tell.beesknees99 wrote:What???? Surely a joke.beew wrote:I heard he has a minor thigh strain so should be available in January!letchbee94 wrote:Will be Pavey be able to feature?
