Barnet 10 Trowbridge Town 0, that’s got to be be in the top 10? God descended to earth and we worshipped him. The two Steves completed the holy trinity that night.

Two trips to Wembley, both losses but worth it just to be there.
The FA Cup against Preston.
First game as a pro. semi-pro. club against Hickley Ath., 10-1.
As above the arrival of His Majesty, His Holiest Sir Nick, what a player, what a man.
The game against Fisher, never to be forgotten.
And as above again, those first two games as a football league club.
Trips to giants Chelsea and Man. Utd., who would have thought it?
And so many more . . . .

Fisher was an amazing day, but my favourite moment of recent times was the cup replay against Bristol Rovers last year. A walk to the ground (I live locally), into the Lion's den with little hope or expectation, a fantastic comeback and team performance, celebrating with the players after both goals and at the end, a slightly awkward but enjoyable pint with a couple of Rovers supporting mates after the game. I know Stills 3rd stint and Lord Byron won't be remembered with much fondness, but that was a great night!

Mine is coming back from Nottingham Forest's ground on the supporters coach and finding out on the journey that we were not going to be expelled from the league.

In no particular order...

1. Barnet 4-3 Lincoln, 2000-2001

A crazy, surreal game that had everything. I'll never forget Danny Naisbitt saving the last minute penalty. The wind practically blew the ball down the other end of the pitch

2. Stevenage 1-2 Barnet, 2003-2004

Peter Beadle's finest hour. Did nothing but stand in the 6 yard box and wait for the ball. Hendo in the crowd in the second half, great times

Leyton Orient 1-3 Barnet

A false dawn, yes, but at the time it seemed the sky was the limit!
