Now Jack has gone, we will probably bring in the type of striker he needed to play alongside. Anyway, good luck to him. He will probably either come back to bite us on the rump or be sold on for a huge profit.ninestein wrote:Good luck Jack. All the best.
Always put 100% in on the pitch.
From our point of view, another wage freed up from the books, so along with J.Taylor and Andre leaving, surely there should be enough in the pot to bring at least one quality player in...

"During his time with the Bees, Jack scored three goals in 27 appearances in all competitions."

Thanks Jack and good luck. Never looked like doing at this level for me.

Re: Jack Barham Going?
I'm sure jack is as relieved as Barnet fans are.
He'll now be playing in a slick, skilful side where he will be played to his strengths with the right players alongside him up front .
Thank God we've moved him on, he's nowhere near good enough for us.

Re: Jack Barham Going?
To be fair, he had more potential than some, but we just don't have the time or current playing resources to see how he developed. He was earmarked as "one for the future" when he arrived, but injuries dictated that he became a go-to man in terms of starting. As I said earlier, the law of sod dictates that he will improve and Dorking will make a killing by selling him on. Just hope there is a sell-on clause.Norfolk & Chance wrote:I'm sure jack is as relieved as Barnet fans are.

Re: Jack Barham Going?
My last sentence was tongue in cheek.
In the right team set up he'll do very well, as he has been at Dorking.
And there really is very little difference between top 6 in NLS and mid table conference.
We should mainly worry about if Dorking get promoted in my view.

As I posted before, I bet he couldn't wait to get out !!
But as so many of our wise fans have stated, he just ain't good enough for the mighty Bees.
Well he damned well is good enough, if utilised correctly.

He is good enough he would be fantastic with a big man next to him - it's style of play - Heskey and Owen or Tarpey and the lad from Maidenhead etc
Great lad as well all the best to Jack

Re: Jack Barham Going?
He looked promising when Still played him alongside Harrison, but when DC took over, he didn't seem to rate either of them and completely changed the style of play. After a few teething problems (notably against Braintee, who showed how to use a big man and handed us our arse on a plate) this worked well, particularly in the FA Cup.amberforever wrote:In a nutshell !!Patel89 wrote:He is good enough he would be fantastic with a big man next to him - it's style of play - Heskey and Owen or Tarpey and the lad from Maidenhead etc
